My name is Beth Young and I am the owner of Perfect Paradise Vacations. I am an Independent Travel Consultant working in affiliation with Travel Planners International. What this means is that I can work where, when and with whom I want. This gives me the flexibility to take the time needed to work with you to plan your Perfect Vacation to wherever your Paradise may be. I can work with you when and where it is convenient for you. My personal specialty is Sun Spots – the Caribbean, Mexico, Hawaii and cruises. However, through my affiliation with Travel Planners Int’l, I am able to help you with pretty much any destination you are interested in, for both leisure and business travel. Not only does TPI have many experienced agents manning their help desk, but their suppliers are experts as well! If I am unable to help you for some reason (let’s face it, no one can be an expert on the whole WORLD!), I will let you know and try to refer you to someone who can. I became a travel agent for two reasons. First, because I love to travel! Since I can’t travel as much as I would like, I get great pleasure out of helping others plan and enjoy their vacations. I get to travel vicariously through my clients. Secondly, the last time I needed the services of a travel agent, I had trouble finding one who would actually return my call. I guess they had too much business. Well, I don’t have that problem. If you call me for help with your travel plans, I promise to call you back! I am always working to learn more about the world and improve my knowledge of destinations and resorts. I have earned Destination Specialist certification for Hawaii, Mexico, the Cayman Islands, Cancun and Las Vegas. I am currently working towards my Accredited Cruise Counselor certification. I regularly take online courses offered by suppliers such as Fairmont Resorts and Hotels, Budget Rent a Car, Carnival and Royal Caribbean cruise lines. And I am the Treasurer of the Pacific Northwest chapter of the Caribbean Tourism Organization. |
